Back in the Day Bakery Savannah, GA-Atlanta Portrait Photographer

So I went to Savannah, GA this weekend to celebrate birthdays with very good friends and had a blast (of course, we had 2 birthday’s to celebrate:))!  Savannah is so visually stimulating!  I’m normally one to shoot people but there where so many “things” that caught my eye.  One spot in particular that not only caught my eye but also my taste buds was Back In the Day Bakery!!!  Being the all sweets expert I am it’s not easy for me to find sweets to RAVE about.  But everything at BITDB was literally delicious!  Cupcakes, Cookies, Cinnamon Buns, Banana Pudding, Brownies and did I say CUPCAKES (oh I did try all of these, with a little help from my friends)!  The buttercream on these babies just melted in your mouth.  I had no idea of the experience I was in store for so I ate cupcakes left and came back for minis which are called “newborns” how adorable is that!  I know, I know not good for me but everyone is allowed to loose it every once in a while.  Espcecially when you have birthdays to celebrate.  I mean what’s a birthday without great cupcakes!  Had to document this and share it with you.  So if you are ever in Savannah please stop by and grab an Old Fashioned for me.  I plan to return real soon, Red Velevet was not on the menu that day, but I’m willing to drive to get one.  I mean what’s 4 hours for a good sugar rush!  More on Savannah coming soon!

How cute are these?  I think we all at least one cake with them!!!

A Class of 2010 Thank You!!!-Atlanta High School Senior Photographer

This time of year is full of mixed emotions for me.  Although I am excited what the 2011 school year will bring, it’s also sad to say goodbye to the Class of 2010.  Well not goodbye just see ya later!  Each of you hold a special place in my heart and I’m glad to have met and worked with all of you.  I have neglected to post one of my FAVORITE session this year.  Thanks to Peter’s Path in Lawrenceville, GA for letting me use the front of her boutique!  Pay her a visit she has great stuff!!!

Thanks so much Class of 2010 for such a great year!!!

Blackburn Family-Atlanta Family Photographer

Ok I don’t get the oppourtunity to shoot families often, but when I do it’s always exciting!  I’ve been fortunate to meet great families that often turn into more than just clients.  I would like to think the same would happen with this wonderful family!  I had such a great time with them!!!  They were all full of such energy and excitement I did not have to give much if any direction at all.  Thanks so much for a wonderful day.  Hope to work with you again soon!

See what I mean….

Oooh look twins!!!
